The  US-Bangladesh NextGen Fellowship & Policy Institute represents a landmark initiative to provide professional development, mentoring, and life-changing experiences aspiring Bangladesh experts and advocates, and to fund novel research on Bangladesh in partnership with think tanks and research institutes in Bangladesh and the region.

Our Mission

The  US-Bangladesh NextGen Fellowship & Policy Institute (USBNFPI) empowers underrepresented college students—especially Bangladeshi-Americans—to pursue careers in global affairs. Through mentorship, hands-on experience, and policy research with leading institutions in the U.S., Bangladesh, and South Asia, we equip Fellows with the skills, networks, and confidence to become the next generation of leaders shaping U.S. engagement with the world. USBNFPI also advances cutting-edge policy research in partnership with leading think tanks and institutes in the U.S., Bangladesh, and South Asia.
